Recommended to Assure Correct Book is Purchased

Students looking to purchase books through the bookstore are encouraged to have their schedule with them to assure that the correct book is being purchased for the correct course/section.

Purchase Policy

Debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cash and personal checks are accepted in the exact amount of purchase. Name must be imprinted on the check with address and phone number provided. A Student ID and/or a valid NH license is required. There is a $15.00 minimum fee on returned checks.

Refund Policy

Textbooks and study aids, with a receipt and in original purchase condition, may be returned for a full refund within 3 weeks of the semester start. Texts and studey aids purchased in the last 3 weeks of a term or during finals are non-returnable. All other merchandise, with a receipt and in original purchase condition, may be returned for a full refund within 30 days of purchase except special orders, software and audio product purchases, which are always final sales. Purchases made by personal check will have a store credit issued which can be used immediately or redeemed for cash after a 3 week waiting period. All refund requests are subject to the discretion of store personnel.

Book Buyback Policy

Although the bookstore buys back books year round, 50% of the new price for books is offered only during the half-price buying periods that begin at finals and ends two weeks prior to the start of the new semester. During the half-price buying periods, the bookstore will pay 50% of the new price for books in good condition that have been ordered for the upcoming fall or spring semester, even if purchased used. Current wholesale prices, as determined by the Used Book Wholesaler, will be offered for books for which a written book order has not been received and/or at times other than the half-price buying periods. Books cannot be bought back if pages and/or covers are missing or if the book is overly hilighted or an old edition. The bookstore reserves the right to determine quality, quantity and price. A license or Student ID is required to sell books. Please watch for advertising the dates of the half-price buying periods!
