NEW HAMPSHIRE COMMUNITY TECHNICAL COLLEGE CLAREMONT ANNOUNCES PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES |
| New Hampshire Community Technical College-Claremont Interim President Harvey Hill is pleased to announce that three finalist candidates have been selected for the presidential position at the College. The Search Committee chose candidates whom they believe possess the pertinent qualifications to meet the future needs of the College and the communities it serves. The following candidates will be visiting both the Claremont campus and the Keene Academic Center during the first two weeks of May:
Cheryl A. Groeneveld is currently finishing a Ph.D. in English Literature at the University of MA Amherst. She was formerly Vice-President for Administration, Finance, and Advancement at Fitchburg State College, Fitchburg, MA. She will be visiting on Friday, May 4. G. Jeremiah Ryan, Ed.D. is Senior Vice-President for the Nonprofit Division of the Alman Group, LLC., in Westfield, NJ. He also served as President of Raritan Valley Community College in Somerville, NJ. He will be on campus Monday, May 7. Steven G. Budd is Assistant Vice-President of Institutional Advancement at Springfield Technical Community College, Springfield, MA. Prior to working at STCC, he was Dean for Institutional Advancement at Greenfield Community College, Greenfield, MA. The date of his visit is Thursday, May 10. Each candidate will participate in a Town Meeting presentation at the Claremont campus, Room 123 from 11:30am to 12:30pm the day of their visit. Community members are invited to attend. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. The candidates will be asked to introduce themselves to the college community; share their educational and leadership philosophy; and express their views of the challenges and opportunities facing community technical colleges nationally and in particular in NH and share ideas on how these may be addressed by our College. |
