The purpose of this course is to familiarize the student with the scope and content of the personnel function. Through case analyses and lectures, this course studies the relationship between operating and personnel managers in employment planning, staff recruitment and selection, management training and development, performance appraisal and compensation, and the promotion of equal employment opportunities.
