If you have not completed all of your general education college courses, you are highly encouraged to attend the spring semester information sessions for academic advising for fall class registration. All applications must be complete by December 31. Acceptance to the program in Keene is conditional if courses are in progress. Only applicants who have successfully completed the six required general education courses will be review for fall semester admission. General education courses completed at other college can be evaluated for transfer credit. Official College transcripts are mailed to the River Valley Community College Office of Admissions for review. The Office of the VPAA will make final determinations of transfer credit.

Clinical experiences and classes are held in the Keene area on an evening and weekend schedule. Keene students will be required to attend clinicals on the day shift on a limited basis to achieve program objectives. To ensure safety and well being of others, the program subscribes to the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics and the College Work-based Learning (WBL) Standards.

Applicants for the Keene Academic Center location are required to successfully complete the following (6) general education courses prior to the start of the first nursing course NURK112.
Admission Requirements:
Anatomy and Physiology I - 4 semester credits
Anatomy and Physiology II - 4 semester credits

Microbiology - 4 semester credits

(These science courses require a "C" or better for transfer)
Introduction to Psychology -3 semester credits
College Composition I - 3 semester credits
Math Elective - 3 semester credits
