Students applying to this option follow the application and selection criteria for the Nursing-Associate Degree. Advanced Placement Option applicants are also requried to interview individually with the Program Director during the application process.
Thirteen nursing credits may be transferred from the basic practical nursing program. An Accelerated Challenge Examination - National League for Nursing ACE is available for those students whose basic practical nurse programs do not qualify for transfer of credits. (Students may contact admissions or more information). One year of experience as an LPN is required. Recent graduates are considered on an individual basis. Graduates of practical nursing programs who are not yet licensed are considered on an individual basis.
