This is a one year accelerated certificate for students who wish to pursue a major in recreation. The curriculum focus will remain on understanding the role of recreation in our society, the student's role as a leader in the recreation field; exploration of a career in recreation including availability of jobs, and the development of a portfolio that is recreation career specific.
