John Marcley

John earned an M.Ed. from Penn State in 2004, and a B.S. from SUNY Health Science Center in 1984. He became a RRT in 1984 and began his first job in the VA Medical Center in Syracuse, N.Y.

He has been working full time in various hospitals since 1984 until 1997 when accepted the position of Program Director of Respiratory Therapy at NHCTC - Claremont. He still works per diem at a local hospital to keep up his clinical skills.

Wendy Smith

Wendy received an M.Ed. from Penn State in 2005, a bachelor's degree in English from Plymouth State College in 1972. She obtained her associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from NHCTC in 1978. Her medical career began as a Candy Striper, then a Certified Nursing Assistant and some work in Medical Records while she attended NHCTC.

Wendy began her career in Respiratory Therapy at DHMC in Spring 1979 -81. She has also worked at Albany Medical Center, Gifford Hospital in Randolph, VT, and Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, NH. She relishes all aspects of respiratory care, with neonatal respiratory care being her favorite. She has successfully completed the advanced practitioner exams from the NBRC.
